There are plenty of Katana/regeneration builds on this forum if you search for them. Spines/WP is a less common build but I'd start with reading a WP write up as they're pretty helpful.

Dark/Shield Build Thread
I used Amberyl's Kat/Regen guide to lvl mine up. Just look in the Scrapper guide section under Katana...you'll see it. It's a bit outdated but it still worked great for me. I had an absolute blast lvling that toon!
I have looked thru the forums and having a hard time finding these two builds and any help would be helpfull
