I would have to say the most painfull injury I ever had was when I was between 8-10 and I was walking to school, I was walking along a raised cement wall next to a small parking lot, heel to toe, it was probably about 1 to 3 feet in height and I slipped and landed face first on the asphault. Split my lip wide open and chipped my front tooth, blood everywhere, from my lip and nose. The best part of that day though was I got out of school for the day.
I dont know if this one counts as it wasnt painfull, but later on in my life, when I was working at a movie theater, I was cleaning one of the theaters and I tripped and flew over a flight of stairs, if I had hit ANY of the stairs I would have been in pain, but I missed all of them and landed on the carpeted cement in front of the movie screen. I landed on my right elbow first and then my left knee, had to leave work and see a doctor, my elbow was broken in such a way that I needed to have a titanium plate screwed into my arm. I have to say this again, for some reason it did not hurt at all. Then a couple of years later my mom has to outdo me and slip on a patch of ice and completely shatter her elbow, she needed more rigid metal plates in her arm, and pins and a cage system outside her arm to help it heal, she still has the scars where the pins were inserted into her arm, and will never be able to fully straighten her arm again. She was in excrutiating pain.
