I'm eager as hell, but I'm not really expecting anything until mid-february at the earliest. If I was on the dev team, I'd be regretting letting people say 'early 2010'; it's driving us mad. 
It's ********, yes. If the beta had start, we'd all know. BTW, it's not "illegal" to tell people, "Sorry, can't say anything about that." Which is what you'll hear, even if you miss the "OMG BETA STARTED" chatter.

I don't think GR beta has started yet. AFAIK, there is only one instance of the training server up and everyone can access it.
