I am going to replace my XP with Win7.

Was going to replace my Vista with 7, I have the disk but I need some advice. Upon reading the warnings it says to backup my hard drive to and external drive (to prevent all my data being wiped) however, I don't have one. My net isn't the fastest so re-patching CoH, Aion, etc will take a while. Would it totally wipe my drive if I went from Vista Ultimate 64 bit or Win7 Ultimate 64 bit?

Jag it could, if you have a little cash an external drive is a good investment. You can get a good 1 terabyte USB drive for like a hundred bucks now.
