One of the fun things about the Creative Caption Craziness Contest is that very quickly we accumulate a number of winning entries that exhibit some of the cleverest wit and creativity that CoH players have to offer. It would be a shame to waste such good material, so in an effort to provide you an entertaining ‘read’ and allow all the winning entries to be found easily in one fell swoop; I have created this winning compilation thread that I’ll add to each week! Enjoy!

From the January 15th edition of the Creative Caption Craziness Contest.

Congratulations to CoH player Pheonyx for his excellent entry!

Several protesters shut down the chalet speed run today, claiming that DJ Zero utilizes illegal immigrants dressed as "ski bunnies". One protester's sign stated, "Lapine-Americans need work, too."

Congrats Korith on your winning entry!

Ocho to Positron, I've been investigating this 'cage' consortium for two weeks now, but can't find any evidence of a conspiracy. ... Wait, what do you mean I should be in Sharkhead?

Our fifth winner is Mintmiki, in the February 12th edition of the contest!

Despite their reputation for rabble rousing, public brawls with the Nemesis, and the countless complaints from campers and hikers in wooded areas, the Devouring Earth are not without their softer side. Take for example their efforts to promote breast cancer research...

Our sixth winner is Treboreleets, in the February 19th edition of the contest!

"Dude, I managed to sneak CoV onto this thing!. You think anybody will notice?"

Our seventh winner is Great_Cthulhu, in the February 26th edition of the contest!

I thought you were just using a figure of speach when you said joining the Outcasts would be more fun than a barrel full of flaming Rikti monkeys.

And MrWentworth is our 9th winner for our March 12th edition!

Quote:
Members of the radical zombie movement B.R.A.I.N.S. (Brotherhood of Re-Animated Individuals Needing Sustenance) protested in Founders Falls today after learning that Emperor Cole would likely disallow any attempts at a Zombie Apocalypse in Praetoria. Local heroes were swift to break up the demonstration thinking it was still Double XP Weekend. Film at 11.
Thanks,

Re: Pirate Masterminds

Between a lack of rum, lack of ships and a Teen Rating; the Pirates models--in defiance to the very game code itself--lack sufficient substance and drop dead.

(I told ya we should have focused on Thugs!)

We would like to congratulate Von Krieger for his very accurate depiction of TheOcho ( after all he's the one with the dolls above his desk!!) and for winning the 11th edition of the Caption Contest held on Friday, March 26th, 2010:

Quote:
"No Serge," said TheOcho, "I don't really think that any of these would really work as a revamp for my costume. But uh... if I could get that purple and white outfit the one on the left is wearing... er... it's for my sister. Yeah. My sister."

With the splinters in the victim's wounds being ruled circumstantial, this photograph became the key piece of evidence that proved, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she was indeed framed.
