2nd Addendum: *Never forget the difference between opinion and fact. (For all) Everyone has the right to an opinion but your Opinion on a topic and your Feeling about something isn't a fact. So don't state an opinion as if it were a fact. (Trust me, I've seen it here.) *Title of your thread. (For the OPs) Having a descriptive title that is appropriate to your topic gets eyeballs on your page. Example: "A Buff for <Name of Powerset>", rather than "What I think would be cool".
Spelling it correctly prevents responses that address your mis-spelling, which distract from the conversation. Example: "More dammag for Brun!"
Being vague doesn't help you out. While someone might look into the thread out of curiousity, you will miss out on some of the potential posters who are interested in that particular topic. Example: "What would be good" instead of "Increase the Spawn rate of <CritterName>."
