Short and sweet, your best short arcs
Arc ID#101165 by @Clave Dark 5, Too Many Bunnygirls
Comments: Haha, Spec Ops Lts! I also really liked the last mission with the 4 bosses. Arc ID#148476 by @Clave Dark 5, AE Premium Quality Comments: A rather weird arc. It was hard to figure out exactly what I had to do in a couple of the missions because the mission objectives were so garbled. I realize that was the point but it was confusing. The humor won me over though. |
I'll agree with you on the second one, it is (by nature) a bit rough to follow. Not to denigrate my own work but it's probably the "least strong" of my currently-four story-based arcs. I'm glad you still found "not without its charms" though.
I really appreciate the plays and the feedback, thanks again!

Comments: This one was the only so far that was sort of borderline for me because while it was one mission, it had so many mini objectives that the mission played really long. And the warehouse map was huge. What made up for it were the cleverly written clues and dialog, which I enjoyed very much. Arc ID#115936 by @Flame Kitten (Coulomb2), Cracking Skulls Comments: A very nicely conceived arc for lowbie characters. It was a bit jarring to be level 14 again, but I can see this arc getting some good play for low level leveling up. I had no trouble with the elite boss at the end. |
M.A. Arcs
Intended for high level play: The Primus Trilogy (Arc #s 10931, 283821, 283825), "Freakshow U" (Arc #189073), Purification (Arc #352381, Dev's Choice! )
Intended for low level play: "Learning the Ropes" (Arc #100304), "Cracking Skulls" (Arc #115935), "The Lazarus Project" (Arc #124906)
@PW - Police Woman (50 AR/dev blaster on Liberty)
TALOS - PW war journal - alternate contact tree using MA story arcs
=VICE= "Give me Liberty, or give me debt!"
You can check out "The Thief!" if you like. It's a 1 mission arc, though if you don't get a lot of the references, it may not be super interesting.
I'm only ladylike when compared to my sister.

I did however, 5-star the arc because I did appreciate the craftsmanship. I still think Aisynia should be an ice/ice blaster. I know you did it to prevent kill stealing but if that's the case then maybe you take her out of the arc. The custom mobs were well done, and at low difficulty (+1/x1) the mission seemed easy.
I will try it at a higher difficulty and see if it makes a difference, though I suspect that both the DM/Regen scrapper and the Bots/Dark MM will just blow right through it at +2/x4.
At +1 x2 my Archery Blaster had serious issues, and Aisy died during the last fight.
EDIT: Also, I will edit it and make sure that what is one of her "side projects" and what is part of her primary motivation, remains clear. I mean, this is obviously not meant to be an award winning serious arc or anything, but I do want things to be clear.
Her primary goal is regarding Pluto's planetary status, but she's also an astronomer and astrophysicist and therefore, her lab contains some information on side projects of hers (and an IM log of a conversation with a horrible jackass of a man).

Tried The Thief! two more times:
DM/Regen Scrapper had no problem with +2/x2/bosses. The bosses made things scary a couple of times but the scrapper didn't die and I forgot to free Aisy for the final boss. A couple of luck inspirations and the end boss went down easy enough. Soul drain against all those pets and the ambushes kind of tipped the scales.
The MM actually had more problems, but played at +1/x4/bosses. At greater numbers the debuffs from the guns and the Shivans really start to add up, and my MM robots took quite a beating. I wasn't paying attention but the MM died to a series of unlucky hits right at the end boss. I rezzed her up using a Mayhem temp, resummoned the pets and continued and won. Probably should've used some inspirations (which until that point, I didn't).
Aisy btw made it alive through the end on both missions.
Even though I had two successes, I see your point. At larger numbers, even at lower difficulty, those mobs are mean. It was actually easier with a higher level and less numbers.
I'm continuing in finishing up the ones that have been submitted so far. I'm happy to report that there hasn't been a single dud as of yet and I've enjoyed them all. I've 5 starred, played and sent feedback on the following:

Comments: Pretty shocked this arc only received 4 rates. One of the arcs that I will probably replay on another character. The mission does a great job of bringing out the campiness of those 1960s/70s Japanese monster movies. As I wrote in the in-game comments, I underestimated it a couple of times and had to run away. Surprisingly challenging. I think the fact that it loads you into the Mynx map lulled me into complacency.
