I don't use 1K cuts. never liked it. Some people swear by it and the sweep combo, but I don't miss it. I do have Typhoon and use it whenever I'm inside a large spawn.

I guess it's a personal preference thing, because I love it and love to mix in a sweep combo once or twice a spawn. I'm well aware that the optimimum attack string is BF + the AV combo, but I feel the added AOE and the damage mitigation of the sweep combo is super nice to throw in the mix. My suggestion, try it yourself on test, or if you have some extra respecs on live. If you don't like the animation, or the extra combo to fire off, respec out of it.
Yeah, the Sweep combo turns you from a "Scrapper who has an AoE" into an "AOE monster!", at least at low levels of recharge. And 1,000 Cuts is the best power of that combo. It's very helpful in dealing with crowds.
Obviously mileage varies, and the Sweep combo is much less useful for soloing tough single targets such as AVs and monsters, and the Attack Vitals combo does provide some AoE.

Will I miss it for aoe damage or will sweeping strike + typhoon edged and LF be more than enough for aoe damage
