Hey, i've never played a kheld that far into the game and i was hoping for some advice on how to build and slot khelds becasue it's really quite hard compared to other AT's!!!

I'm looking for a Dwarf/human form, focusing mainly on the dwarf side of things. I'm hoping for a dwarf scranker build mostly, with a range based human backup build.
I'm not sure wether to go for a PB or WS, WS does seem like the better AT because of the powers they have, the -rech secondry effect, and the lesser resisted negative energy. but i do vastly prefer the PB's look and the flight they get. So i don't whether to go for QoL or Strength i guess.

Hope thats enough info, if you need anymore just yell =)

Thanx for reading

First things first: I don't have a lvl 50 kheldian, the only experience I have with kheldians is a lvl 34 PB I'm playing atm., which, btw, is a very funny character . This said, have in mind that I have only tried one of the 2 AT's, and do not even have a lvl 50 kheldian, so my advice might not be as good or useful as other's.

This said, according to your description, I'd say you should go with a WS. You say you want to primarily be Dwarf, as I can catch it, and the WS dwarf form is by far superior to the PB, in my opinion. This is because of two major reasons:

1. The WS Dwarf's PBAoE is a lot more useful than the PB's, because the PBAoE is also an AoE Build Up, which is indeed needed for the Damage output of a Dwarf.
2. The WS Dwarf gets a ST damage/heal, which is useful both as an attack and a heal.

Don't be fooled. A fully slotted out Black Dwarf is a wonder to behold, and has MUCH higher highs than the White Dwarf. My level 40 SO'd WS rips through +2X4 mobs in roughly half the time it takes my level 50 IO'd (only a 100 mil infl build) PB, and I use dwarf with both rather heavily.

HOWEVER, if you're looking for a light, fun-to-play build that you can just put on cruise control and mow through spawns with fairly regular expectations of your performance, Peacebringers are what you want. My warshade requires my constant attention for just the right time to drop to human for SC or Fluffies or what-have-you, but there is a wider margin for error on my PB, largely because he has self-sustaining mitigation.

Which makes PB's more beginner-kheld friendly, IMHO.

I have a human-dwarf build I was kicking around for Brightstorm there for a while (ended up sticking with triform, so the build never really got a second look) if you like. There's plenty of room for improvement and/or personalization if you want to take something different, or maybe someone can lend a hand with a min/max'd build:

EDIT - huh. Looking back on this build there are some things that seem odd to me, and I don't remember what I was going for, so take it with a grain of salt. Like the slotting for dwarf form, for example. Was I going for Psionic resistance bonuses? Bah. I can't remember. You know what? Ignore that part. Slot Dwarf for a combination of endredux, damres and endmod (in the form of a Performance Shifter Proc).

The more I look at this build, the less I like it. Oh well. I'm quite sure someone could do better than this build, but it's a start, at least. Don't consider it end-game.

Well I play a Human Form Peacebringer, and have never needed dwarf or nova form (after set bonus' etc)

I took lightform and stuck a steadfast protection in their for a rainy day, but he seems to do pretty good and can more than keep up with other ATs

I know I am late to the topic but judging by what you want I would simply compare the Dwarf forms of both PB's and WS's and see which is best if you plan on playing in that form for a long time.

White Dwarf will usually hold up longer in a fight, but for a scranker build you can't get better than Black Dwarf and that is why I would pick a Warshade.

The main reason for this is that Black Dwarf Mire is much better for damage that White Dwarf Flare, and getting a good recharge build means you can spam it and have an almost permanent 230% damage bonus.

To truly get the most out of it however you need to build for recharge, movement speed (Since both Dwarf forms are slooooow) and building for defence will also help if you get the room (But you aren't likely too).

Just make sure Black Dwarf Mire is your best slotted power and you are good to go

As Smiling_Joe said however, PB's are easier to play than WS's, and require less dropping to human as White Dwarf is more self-sufficient than Black Dwarf. So aside from the Black Dwarf > White Dwarf thing I would look at budget, low budget = PB, higher budget = WS.

When someones new to Khelds I'd imagine a basic IO set build maybe right to get started with. Would that be useful OP? Anyway I'd also imagine other people to do something more appropriate than I.
