I believe the mission is still bugged. Snaptooth dives into the ground and comes back up an untouchable friendly EB. You can't kill him and thus, the mission can't be completed.
That was this summer. Haven't seen a Patch Note saying it's fixed.

i'm pretty sure i still have it on at least one Champion alt, but if it's still bugged like the Zombie thinks then it may not help. i'll check in a bit.
