SS/SD Build - Thoughts/Help
With SS/SD, I just couldn't bring myself to get a patron. I'll post my build up and maybe you'll agree.
As to problems, the biggest one that I spotted was lack of defense debuff resistance. Grant Cover is an important part of that, and you can actually get more out of active defense.
I like hurl, not for having a ranged attack so much as having a way to bring down fliers. Rather than try to get damage out of that slot I went for utility, and when fighting anything that flies it can be a life saver, longbow are infinitely less painful to face.
I'll go ahead and put mine up, I got a few ideas (the numinas in true grit) from your build, maybe mine will help you out as well.

Money isn't a factor as I practically have all this...
So things I'm looking for:
Maximum Recharge with Max Dmg (not dmg set bonus) while still maintaining 45%+ def to Melee and Ranged, AoE is forgivable but should not be far behind and of course I don't want to be more of an END sucker than I have to be...
Gloom - Haymaker slot swaps is possible - or something along those lines -- toyed with this
I like hurl but didn't have room in that above -- just need atleast 1 good ranged attack - 2 is always better than 1 if the same end results are achieved
I think Mu Mast is an END sucker -- I have it on my Elec/SD, so I went to dark... is the end any better? idk
I would like taunt but don't see a good way to do when I made this.
I realize that dropping fighting and getting say... maneuvers... to get the taunt I want could work, but don't see a way of doing it without **** happening...
