Solicitation for power leveling =(
Replying to spam in-game is just as effective as replying to spam in your regular e-mails. Not at all.
Ignore them as a spammer by clicking the Spam button on the email list. Then go into General Options, scroll down about two-thirds of the way and Enable E-Mail from Friends and Supergroup only.
No more spam!
Another way to assure you don't get spammed is to type /hide and select "Hide from searches". This will prevent RMT spammers from collecting your character name through /whoall, and that means you don't get new spam.
If you're already on a spammers list, however, the only recourse you have is to hit the "spam" button on the e-mail you recieve.
We now have the ability to turn email OFF for anyone not on your Friend list or in your SG.
Which means now the spammers will attempt to wheedle their way into your good graces before spamming.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
I keep getting "emails" in game from people trying to sell me power leveling. I'm pretty sure this is against the ToS. Is there a way for me to report these people or something? Maybe I didn't look hard enough but I didn't find anything about this on a site as to what to do. I am not even sure this is the right forum, lol. Point is, I'm trying to get these people to leave me alone for one. I've already sent them replies tellin them to f' off but they keep on coming =( Any suggestions?
