I know it's not quite the accomplishment it used to be, but I was excited. I will post a pic if I can remember my photobucket password.

I was stuck between 500-600 mil for weeks, making and spending, but in the course of 2 weeks I had 5 purples drop, 2 ragnoroks, a apocolypse, and a armagedon and some other one I can't think of(not even sure I wrote the right ones down here )

So anyways I now have 1.4billion with 300 million at WWs waiting to be sold. Though I am about to spend alot of it

Sorry for the novel I was just very excited!!!!

Congrats, and I mean this whole heartedly.

BUT

How come though your Billion is less than my idea of a Billion

A Hundred Hundreds = a Thousand
A Thousand Thousands = a Million

Now here we get a little different

Over here (U.K.) a Million Millions = a Billion
please correct me if I am wrong, but in the U.S.

A Thousand Millions = a Billion?

the U.S. isn't bigger, its just inflated.

Mr ?

From the wiki entry:

The long and short scales are two of several different large number naming systems used throughout the world:

Short scale is the English translation of the French term échelle courte. It refers to a system of large number names in which every new term greater than million is 1,000 times the previous term: billion means a thousand millions (10^9), trillion means a thousand billions (10^12), and so on.

Long scale is the English translation of the French term échelle longue. It refers to a system of names in which every new term greater than million is 1,000,000 times the previous term: billion (from bi and million) means a million to the power of two or a million millions (10^12), trillion (from tri and million) means a million to the power of three or a million billions (10^18), and so on.

Many countries, including most in continental Europe, use the long scale. For most of the 19th and 20th centuries, the United Kingdom uniformly used the long scale, while the United States of America used the short scale, so that usage of the two systems was often referred to as British and American respectively.

In 1974, the government of the UK abandoned the long scale, so that the UK now exclusively applies the short scale interpretation in mass media and official usage. Although some residual usage of the long scale continues in the UK, the phrases British usage and American usage are no longer accurate nor helpful characterizations. The two systems can be a subject of misunderstanding or controversy. Usage changes can evoke resentment in adherents to the older system, while national differences of any kind can acquire jingoistic overtones.

So, yes in the US - (short scale) a billion is 1,000,000,000 (10^9)
while a trillion is 1,000,000,000,000 (10^12)

In the older UK (long scale) a billion would be 1,000,000,000,000 (10^12)
and a trillion would be 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10^18)

However, apparently, the UK uses the short scale now, so it's the same as the US.

Either way, I think it's officially a "buttload" of cash

Congrats to the OP, now go out and buy ONE (count 'em ONE) PvP IO.

You're talking the difference between:

Short Scale: 1,000,000,000

and

Long Scale: 1,000,000,000,000 (Short Scale: One trillion)

Most English-speaking countries, save the UK itself, are using short scale, as does France, from whom the terms were originally derived. Even the UK uses short scale in a haphazard fashion. It's really a shame that these backwards little third world countries can't learn their mathematics properly and conform to the rest of the modern world.
