after seeing forst eld h's dark/cold build get as many kills in a 5 minute span as my mind/fire against a bad /elec scrapper, and having been sharked to death twice in a 2v2 last night i'm gonna side with going /leviathan as your patron instead of /mace.
/mace is great for team matches.
that's about it.
Because of spirit shark jaws? 1.87 is a good cast time for 167 damage, but I can't see myself not having perception and Web. Especially since web is a major part of my toon when I team with my friends therm. Is it good besides the disagreement on Mace mastery?
you should explore options on how to frankenslot life drain for max damage / heal / rchg potential. there's a lot of better ways to slot that thing than what you're doing.
my /mace build took torrent to mess with people without kb protection during i14.
ymmv on that one.
if you're serious about teaming, get web envelope, not webnade, and let other people mez the target while you web everyone.
disclaimer: i've switched my position on /colds to the point i think fire/cold was not even a near optimal choice at all for teaming/dueling. i'm gutting my fire/cold to make a sonic/cold as soon as my sonic/cold is acco'd, and my dark/cold is getting switched to a torrent-less build with dark pit.
Looks much better overall.
I'm keeping Hold instead of web so i have something to detoggle stuff, might get into 2v2 and 1v1.

After playing freedom zones awhile with the corruptor I'm starting to warm up to the idea of leviathan mastery, seeing as things die so fast web is not as useful as it was on champion.
On a Leviathan build, I think I should go Maneuvers/tactics for KB IO and perception that was lost from Focused accuracy. This leaves me with an open slot, and I'm not really sure what to do with it. I could:
A. Get a snipe, not very useful since I have like 4 attacks now, right?
B. Get Dark Pit, its a stun which is useful, but I already have a hold from Shark Jaws, granted its slotted for damage not mez.
C. Get coralax pet, I hear this thing is pretty useful in arena but I'm not sure how useful it will be overall.
D. Get Torrent, not really fond of this idea considering I can only get it to 22 KB and Dark Pit is more reliable because nobody has stun protection like they do KB protection.
I am leaning towards Dark Pit or Coralax build, this is what I have in mind atm. No I will not be toggling on Maneuvers.
I could easily be persuaded to take the pet if someone has had better experiences with it compared to Dark Pit.

Ok this is what the pet build would look like, basicly moved frostwork and with the extra slot added some more recovery in stamina.
Gonna transfer and respec and IO my dark/cold from champ, seeing as I deleted my old build I made this one, I'm pretty sure its about the same.
I'm not going to do any big changes (Change power pools, Patron, etc) but I think it looks pretty good, I dont have as much recharge as I'd like, because I am going for a build a little on the cheap side (already have the LOTG, numi, and miracles). Is there any obvious things I am missing or can be changed? Wanna have this up by tomorow hopefully, going to switch to build with actual purple sets after I get me some pvp IOs to sell.
