Stacked Oppressive Gloom

Joined a task force last night whose lead tank was a Dark/. I was on a Spines/Dark Scrapper myself.

When we stuck together, our two Oppressive Gloom toggles stunned all the bosses too -- especially nice against Paragon Protectors.

Since Dark Regeneration can repair any level of damage short of outright death, any situation where he could survive the alpha for a second was completely dominated.

That was entertaining in a "cruel cat toying with its victims" way.

I think you just found out why I like energy melee with dark armor so much. It's fun to play as a melee character that can turn big bosses into stumbling, helpless drunkards.

Yeah, dark armor is pretty good. On top of the biggest self-heal in the game, my tank is dark/dark so he's also got a self-heal as part of his attack chain. The only rough spot is the endurance usage but it can be addressed. I have 10 toggles on this guy.

/\ Yup. But dual slot impervium armors in your res toggles, put the +end proc in a 4th stamina slot, some extra +recovery bonuses where you can fit them, (hint: many stun sets give +recovery) and it won't be an issue.

Tell me about it. I have the Performance Shifter proc and Stamina fully (3) slotted.
AFTER that, I have an additional 45.5% recovery. That includes 2 uniques, set bonuses and Physical Perfection (which I really took for the regen). Having that crazy amount of recovery let me take Focused Accuracy as my 10th toggle.

You know, you can get another copy of the Endurance proc and put it in the physical perfection.

My Dark/Regen has one in each of Quick Recovery and Stamina. Dark Ring Mistresses and Even Sappers give her little trouble.

Yes, and one of the healing sets has a +end proc that people like to slot in Dark Regeneration. At this point, I don't need either. I took Physical Perfection for the regen; I was already in fine shape on the endurance. I have Dark Consumption heavily slotted but rarely need it.

With all the different procs and set bonuses, you can reach a really crazy level of endurance recovery.

My DA/DM Tank has that proc in both DR and SL, and since the latter is part of my attack chain it goes off constantly. In fact, I plan to slot that proc into SL on all my /DM Tanks since there's no such thing as 'too much Endurance'

Correct, but stone melee is even better, fault + OG = AoE drunkenness
