Checksum failed, need help please!
your checksum may be corrupted. Go to your CoH folders in Windows and delete the Coh.checksum then open your CoH desktop shortcut and let it rebuild itself. Also, defrag if you haven't done it in a while. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help but I'm still getting those error messages, I've defragged, reformatted and system restored. I think my HD is corrupted, dying or dead.

Time to back up vital data.
www.paragonwiki.com is a great source of information for this game.

This began yesterday, Friday Dec 11th and while I was getting this message a lot during Veriying.
"checksum failed on piggs/sound.pigg
click ok to do full checksum of all files.
You may be out of disk space or you may be trying to install to a location where you havve insufficient permissions."
My CoH was also shutting down with an error and even flashing a light blue screen with white text and restarting, on it's own.
I tried doing a system restore, didn't help none so then I reformatted stile no help.
At the same time the CoH problems began I also started getting error messages with the WoW updater and installer, unable to update or install WoW itself.
Do I need to replace something like the HD or is this problem fixable?
Help would be appreciated, thanks for your time!
