Easy Infamy
Out of curiosity, why not the level 50 one? Despite the benefits of keeping set bonuses while exemplaring, the vast majority of recipes (and enhancements) sold are at maximum level.
For whatever reason, level 50 recipes tend to sell for far more than level 46-49, even though the latter are almost identical in effect. Crafted however, they tend to sell for similar prices to the 50's.
The OP was probably getting more markup that way.
@Roderick
Seems most people these days don't want to poke it with a stick if it isn't going to make 5 mill+ in profit.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
I would consider a 5m/sale niche, especially redside, where I don't have as many resources to draw on. But the volume would have to be high to make it worth it - at least 10 per day - and the capital investment would have to be low (i.e. I'm not bothering with 5m profit on a 30m recipe).
The level 50 recipes generally sold for far higher. Plus there were generally 60 bidding and 40 for sale which means I would have had to compete. The 46-49 range was more a fire and forget method. Put up some bids, park the toon in a day job loc and log another toon. Few days later and I had picked up ~15 recipes. The niche isn't really for someone who knows the market, more for people who don't want to learn but like big piles of infamy over time.
I'm giving up my lazy man's infamy earner. Buy Red Fortune lvl 46- 49 for 250k, craft and sell for 3.8 million. It's not fast but it is an easy inf earner redside. I've gotten my badges and any sets that I want on my badger so I'm posting here for any that don't like playing the market. Total earnings: ~3 Billion +. Thank you all. (I have no idea how long it took but it was mostly a fire and forget method).
