question about build

Not my primary or secondary powersets but more about the size of my toon. I made him rather large and before I get to far into lvling him (only lvl 3 atm) I'm wondering if making him as big as I did will be an issue when teaming due to camera angles/etc to make sure I can see everything going on. Put simply, is it possible to make a toon too big that seeing everything in a fight is hindered?

The easy answer of course is to just make him smaller but I made him wp/ss and I hate seeing the "average" built toon and trying to imagine him with super strength.

Well, I made the mistake of rolling my Peacebringer up as an 8' tall character; I found that a lot of missions were a huge pain because of that. Any cave mission was an irritation because of the character's size.

YMMV, but I really didn't care for the character's size, unfortunately by the time the problem really sank in to me the character was in his 20's so I just stuck with it and coped. He ended up as my 2nd level 50 character but once the Science pack with the super tailor was released I shrank him down to about 6'6".

If you have the Science booster pack then you can always change your character model so you could try it and see what your experiences are, I found anything much taller than 6'6" irritating in confined maps.

Still being relatively new to the game I'm not familiar with the booster packs... assuming I don't have the science booster pack how would I go about getting it? At this point I'll probably just reroll as he is still very low I'm just curious.

It's one of several "super booster packs" available in the NCSoft Store, each has different add ons to the game and they're $10 each ($9.95 actually, but I call that $10). Buying and applying a booster pack to your account grants all your characters the perks in the pack, each one is different. Costume pieces, additional, usually minor, powers and so forth.

I don't think I've ever made a toon at absolutely max height. However, my ice tank is over 7' tall and I never had any issues with his size during the trip from level 1 to 50.

I've made several characters who were at the extremes of short and tall. Frankly both extremes have problems. The short-framed toons drive me nuts in water, as their viewpoint is partly submerged and it blocks sight very severely.

The tall-framed toons get snagged on stuff overhead in caves, and seem to move more slowly when running (same illusion that makes a jet at high altitude appear to be crawling along).

I like the extremes for roleplaying reasons, but there are good reasons to stay near the middle of the bell curve.

Yeah. I've got a toon set to full height with a huge build. Going through some maps, especially caves is a pain. I've never made a toon that large again.

I always max out the height slider when making a new character, and always have. Not sure why, other than there can be no connection to the fact that I am rather short in real life. Anyways, I manage to play just fine. But then, I don't really know what it is like to play a smaller character. I just know that for me, being in-game tall is no big deal.
