This one is from a character that I recently created that seems to be extremely interesting. He's called Onzekerheid, which I believe is Dutch for "uncertainty."

Grandfather, Do you remember that night you spoke of so long ago, when last our world faced such a Great Nightmare? Of how soldiers came through your hometown door to door, seeking to erase from existence all memory of those who didn't quite fit the image of purity that they had been lead to believe? Of how you fled in the middle of the night, knowing that you would be hunted? You told me that you had made it to France, settled in with friends in Saint-Aubin, and that you had felt safe, because no one there would reveal that you, we, were Jewish. I had difficulty believing that you were telling the truth about the night you finally had to yet again flee into the shadowy mists of the pre-dawn. But my skepticism was for reasons different than what I had told you. You headed north, I remember you saying that clearly. I've seen that so clearly in my dreams even before you told me about it. You were headed for the sea. I know the terror you felt as you heard the soldiers shouting and the dogs barking only several hundred yards behind you. I remember you tripping over an exposed root, and crying out in despair because you knew that you were about to be caught. You never told me what had happened after that, I know that you've wanted to, but it was too unbelievable for you to be able to tell anyone. I wanted you to know that I actually do know what happened, that's why you're receiving this letter. That's why... I'm gone. When you tripped, you landed facing the sky, and could see light in the clouds above. How could you have known that this would be the night that the Nightmare would finally abate? You heard the dogs whine farther off, and the soldiers shouting... they'd seen the lights two. I watched through your eyes as dark shapes began to descend from the clouds. There were only a few at first, but they grew to dozens, and from dozens to hundreds, and from hundreds to thousands. You heard the naval fire coming from the beaches, you heard the planes flying overhead. That was D-day, Grandfather. And that is why I am gone. Now, it is not only one small group of people that risks extinction, it is all men. All of us, the entire human race, men, women... even children. The Scourge that struck Europe in your youth pales in comparison to what we all now face. I can help. I think I understand what you have been trying to teach me for my entire life, my grandfather, and it pains me to realize that I have not been listening. For that, I am sorry. I do this because of the Canadians, Grandfather. You know as well as I what they have done for all Dutch. You met Grandmother the day the Canadians drove the Germans out of Arnhem... our home. I will be serving with a Canadian, Grandfather, who is known as Vimy Rose. I will repay the debt our family, our people, owe to those who would love Justice, to those who would love peace. To anyone who cares
I don’t know why I am writing this stupid letter I have no one left no friends, no family, I don’t even have a freakin cat, not like it matters anyway cats can’t read I just end up being the crazy guy on omega team who wrote a letter to a cat. Not like I care I’ll be dead just like everyone else, alpha team, omega team, heroes, villains the rikti don’t care who you are all they care about is killing so it’s time I give them a piece of their own medicine. I managed to avoid Statesman, he was talkin to a lot of us he would have known I just wanted to kill some rikti he would have made up some lame excuse why I shouldn’t go like “Your recklessness will endanger the team” or something. Not like me killing rikti is gonna hurt us. I hope the ******** have families so I can make them feel my pain, they deserve it

Maybe it was you but it was remembering someones dolphin costume that as posted in Best Costume Design in the Screenshots forum that got me thinking of that line
