Whats the best blaster for pvp & why?

I'll vote Psy/em. The damage is extremely quick + the placate proc is enough to put any squishy toon into a world of trouble. Rad has the whole -def thing but as is blasters have a ton of to-hit which will override most def
Psi/EM, mostly because of the broken placate proc, but also because it has a fluid 4-attack chain at 80 feet, or around 120 feet with Boost Range (most other sets have 2 attacks at 80 and 1 at 40) and the projectile timing on the attacks makes it possible to fire attacks in the right order to as to deliver most of the damage at once (Will Dom followed by TK Blast means two attacks' worth of damage will often hit at or near the same time). I'd put Fire/EM next, because Flares has a fast animation and very fast recharge time, but also deals respectable damage, and you can chain Fire Blast and Flares indefinitely (Blaze every now and again if you're in range).

I'd go for Psy/Em too with the placate proc the way it is and those 4 - 80 yrd range attacks. Built in Mez (or decent chance to) on Will Dom is nice for offensive toggle dropping. Delayed attacks make for some nasty mini spikes.
That being said, your Fire/MM Fire/Dev and Fire/EM are all viable options as well. Fire/EM being second under Psy/EM IMO.

Why archery? I have a 50 archery/elec. I appreciate all the opinions, but im also interested in the WHY.

I like Psi/EM best, however I think sonic/EM should get a little 'shout out' (im so lolzy) because powerboosted stun is full of win.

Archery is Highly underated....80 foot range on you blazing arrow...thats hawt.
I'm curious to know people's takes on what they consider to be the 'best' pvp blaster. I'm trying to decide whether or not to make Rad/EM or Psi/EM. Those are the two I am leaning towards. What do you all think? I'm a 5 yr vet but haven't spent much time pvping and would like to get into that more. Funds aren't too much of a problem, but I certainly can't have the toon purped out.
I'm interested to see people's builds as well. If you want to throw in your opinion of THE BEST (including other than blasters) pvp toon, I'd be interested to hear that as well.
I have 19 50's and the blaster's include Fire/MM, Fire/Dev, Ice/Fire, Fire/EM (at 38), Rad/Ice (at 35), and Psi/MM (at 36). I feel like I'm forgetting something, but you get the idea.
Please suggestions and sample builds would be greatly appreciated.
