I have a lvl27 DM/Ninjitsu Stalker, and have begun working on a final build for him. This one sems a bit pricey but seems doable. I am trying to get Softcapped Melee and Range. You seem to have fallen into the IO set trap. IMO you have weakened too many core powers to get the IO sets. Midnight grasp being the most obvious, but there are plenty of others.

You seemed to concentrate on Defense, Recharge and Damage, but you don't have Hasten.

I am assuming a PvE build is what you want.

I had'nt done too much work redside, I do have a lvl 50 MA/SR scrapper, with Quickness and some global recharges he has no need for hasten, I have found properly slotted with recharge bonuses that the Speed pool is something I don't need. Yeah your right though I'm looking for a PvE build, as I will be taking this guy Blueside for "GR". I might try and make him a PvP build later, as his second build but right now trying to learn the powers. Perhaps there are some other powers I didn't pick up that might have made better choices than What I did. I'm not troller for a build just some advice.

i would suggest taking and using caltrops before you burn billions of infamy on defense bonii that will do the same as 'trops. use them strategically and you can go nearly without toggles. just a thought.

[edit to add: what i usually do when planning an IO build, is pick and slot powers as if i only had SO's, and then look at IO sets to see what can be moved around and where to, etc. maybe that will help in planning.]

There is much truth here. Also, being DM you have *tons* of -tohit on everything you attack, which has immense synergy with your defense.

My DM/Nin has a *very* modest build, nothing expensive in it at all (I even run Acrobatics for knockback rather than IOs), and she took down every EB she faced with ease. Even Positron, who always seems to be a bear for my brutes to beat.
