Auto click powers not firing reliably

This issue has been around for a bit. I think it was broken, fixed and now broken again. Now that I've been playing my /sd brute more it's more apparent to me with the auto click on active defense.

Known issue? Fix on the way? Is this reproducible? It seems to happen randomly.

Thanks

If you have a non-attackable entity targeted (like, say, vendors), auto-fire is suppressed. No one knows if this is on purpose (no more healspam at the market!) or a bug (..grumble grumble..)

It's pretty frustrating, especially for something like mez protection. I've been avoiding sets with clicky mez protection for this reason. Also due to the AE bug where buffs go away after a mission.

This. And it even includes clicking on glowies in missions.

I've been noticing the same thing on my /SR scrapper of late... sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

From what I can tell, if you're in the enhancement screen or changing costumes, it causes the auto-click to not to work.

Aha! That explains why my hasten on auto doesn't fire when I'm in the consignment house selling stuff... It seemed random, but the "non-attackable entity targeted" part makes the randomness not at all random.

I have just recently discovered something that works to fix this while I am playing. In any stance (not in combat) and nothing targeted. Hit the 'escape' key. Two things happen, first the power set will immediately fire. Second, I do not see the auto set power NOT fire again during that session of play.

I would love to hear if this works for anyone else, but I will be without any communication access to the world for over a week and will likely forget I even posted this....

Hope it works though.

Yes, Escape clears anything you have targeted, ergo, the auto-fire will begin working again.

Just tested this. It allows it to fire, but then if I click the npc or whatever again, the power still won't fire next time it's up.
