%$$@@!!! Why'd you have to go and put that out there! In the Kheld forum, no less!

The Dev's next morning meeting will go as follows (in the spirit of the last one of these I posted):


"Morning, everyone."

*bunch of tired 'mornings' around the room*

"It's come to my attention that a Warshade using Nebulous form with Ninja jump has better jump speed than Unslotted Super Jump."

*concerned mumblings*

"...But, sir--"

"I know, it's a Kheld. We'll definitely have to do something about it."

*sigh of relief*

"So, what do you propose?"

"I have a couple ideas, but I'd like to get some suggestions from you guys first."

"....What if we make it to where Nebulous Form, when activated, makes you as small as Baby New Year, and therefore you couldn't necessarily jump as high as you could before?"

*silence*

"Babs, why don't you go pick up some donuts for us, k? That'd be great."

*quietly shuffles out*

"Anyone else?"

"Uhm...How about we make these two powers exclusive to eachother, even though it's not technically a travel power? We already did that with Combat Jumping..."

"That's a pretty good idea. But, you've got to remember, this is KHELDS we're talking about here."

"Oh, right.... Just take away Ninja Jump from Khelds?"

"Precisely."

*door opens*

"Who wants donuts?"

"Fantastic. Let's take a quick break before the next order of business."

More importantly Ninja Run + Swift is the same as Nova with a fly/endrdx HO.

That is so annoying My ability to get to all door missions on Posi and tp the team has gone.

You could just do what I do and pick sprint at lvl 14, so when you exemp down, you're still faster than pretty much everyone else on the team...

Well, actually I think hurdle+ninja run is faster than super jump too. I just got excited cause I can now legitimize (somewhat) my taking a power I have always avoided as relatively useless.

And I hope you mean take swift at 14 and not sprint; if you've been picking sprint at 14 I've missed some very important change to the game >.>

I challenge your characterization of hurdle as "relatively useless". Hurdle itself is faster than swift. According to Mid's hurdle is faster than swift + sprint, even. Hurdle + combat jumping is awesome, frankly. It's fantastic as combat movement and with some slotting, is passable as a travel power. Not great, mind you, but it frees up a power choice. I only take swift on characters that will be using the flight pool.

I think 2-slotted hurdle + ninja run may be my new travel power. It's that good.

Debt barely slows down levelling these days. It's just a little bar that measures how much Awesome you've generated recently. (If you're not getting debt, you're just not trying to generate Awesome hard enough.) -Kelenar

K. I was characterizing nebulous form as relatively useless, not hurdle. I already have inherent travel powers and the pool sj was faster than nebform; I can just buy an ethereal shift if I want a phase. Now I can pretend that slotting nebform with Zephyrs and using it with ninja run is actually worth me picking it up.
