Help me choose my last power
If you want to continue to leave out a true travel power and just use Ninja Run,
then I'd say take either Hurdle (it does provide just that little bit more in jumping to make NR better) or Focused Accuracy.
For the Focused Accuracy, you can throw one extra slot in at 50 and slot it with 2 adjusted targeting IO's (I usually use ToHit and ToHit/End) for the +2% damage bonus.
Then you can just leave it turned off 90% of the time and only activate it when you need it's help for the really high-defense mobs.
Another option might be to drop Elude (if you're soft-capped or so close that you almost never use Elude anyway) and then move things around a bit so you can pick up both Focused Accuracy and Physical Perfection. The extra endurance recovery from PP really helps a lot in offsetting FA's cost if you run it constantly or just pretty much ensures you won't have any more end issues if you only run FA as needed.
6000+ levels gained and 8 level 50's
Hello, my name is Soulwind and I have Alt-Itis.
If you're going to take Focused Accuracy you should also make room for Physical Perfection. Extra End Recovery is never a bad thing(SR can be a tad End heavy too).
The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

Caltrops is almost never a FIRST choice, but I'm frequently surprised how nice it is to have an area-denial tool on hand. It lets you easily waylay ambushes, take the heat off you if you get in over your head, neutralize the repairmen on an STF, etc. It doesn't really need any slots if you don't want to give it some, but a slow or two can keep enemies running away at a crawl for longer, and it can add up to significant damage against hard targets if you throw some damage slots/procs in.
Alternatively, if your DB chains are already as seamless as you would like them to be and have no interest in cutting corners on it with Hasten, I would go with Hurdle just as a quality-of-life improvement. Assuming you have already built to be accurate enough in normal situations, FA only comes into play against enemies with really high defense or crowds of ghosts that stack -tohit on you. Either way, you can probably just carry a large yellow insp on you if things get messy rather than spend the power pick.
Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
I always seem to have difficulty choosing my level 49 power. Something about the finality of NO MORE CHOICES afterward makes me lock up a bit in endless debate. So this time I'm asking for a little input from the community.
My latest project, about to turn 49, is a DB/SR scrapper. She was intended from the beginning to have no travel power - due to the tightness of the build and for conceptual reasons. She got to level 46 before Ninja Run became available, so now she uses that and I delude myself into believing this is still "natural."
Her current powers:
Dual Blades - Everything except Confront
Super Reflexes - All 9
Fitness - Swift, Health, and Stamina
Medicine - Aid Other and Aid Self
Leaping - Combat Jumping
Powers I'm considering for her last pick:
Caltrops - Not terribly necessary since she can slice and dice most things before they think about running away, but fits nicely into her natural concept.
Hasten - Only thing that really stopped me from picking it earlier is the glowy hands. Now though, I feel like Elude is the only power that would seriously benefit. And even without being all-IOed out, defenses are high enough that a small purple softcaps all positions, so I don't really need Elude that often.
Hurdle - Had been planning to get it just to complete the fitness pool and add a little travel speed. But now with Ninja Run, I feel like it's just superfluous.
Focused Accuracy - Probably not even a serious contender, just because I hate the huge end cost.
So, any advice? Something I didn't think of? I'm planning a respec anyway just to move some slots around, but I really don't want to drop any of the powers I already have.
