Need some minor/major help with my Brute

Brute: SS/FA/Soul
Map: Lib Farm map
Mobs: Nems

Problems: Running out of End, Green bar doing the Yo-Yo effect, having to really rely on HF to survive, and when not up, chewing candy for life. Died about 3-4x last night on a +2 map, with a team helping. I originally had the MU set, but when I did Electric Fences and Burn, it cut out the mitgation part of burn (naturally) so I took more damage and died even faster. I have almost a BILL into this build and would really like to fix it, so that I can farm faster, and survive longer. Also, I am still getting knocked back by the Fake Nem bosses, I have the proc, so what is going on there? Thanks for the help.

A couple of things:
-Fire IS going to yo-yo. Healing Flames is what keeps you alive. (switch the heal/end with end/rech)
-If you haven't get the 4 accolades that will give you more end and health.
-Weave is pointless for the nemesis farm because of stacking vengeance. All that matters is regen/heals and KB mitigation for a brute. Take those slots out and put them in health. Get the panacea +hitpoints/endurance, and miracle recovery.
-Soul Tentacles is an immob, which isn't always so nice if you can use footstomp for damage mitigation.
-Obliteration in Blazing Aura is going to make it pretty end heavy. Try a more endurance efficient slotting. Yes, I know the set bonuses are nice...

The Burn/Immob combo is all about locking enemies within the burn patch, not mitigation. Mu is picked over soul because of the Targeted AoE being easier than a cone. As for mitigation, inspirations drop like candy, and the color you want is orange.

You need 3 KB procs to deal with the KB from Fake Nem Bosses. In order to get that third slot, you're going to have to free up some things - namely by taking out the bulk of your slotting in rage. You could grab a steadfast KB or karma KB for res or defense and put an extra slot in somewhere. In order to give you back some rech, I threw a FF chance for rech into footstomp. Then I made room to put oblit in burn. Oh, and if you don't want to spring for the panacea, try regenerative tissue +regen.

Ok, took what you said under advisment and tweaked some here and there, and this is my version, decided to go back to the MU and see how it does, I can always go back if I don't like it, testing on Test Server. What do you think of this build? I still have very little protection in way of defense, and my Resistances are pretty low. Do people make farm builds that are higher in Def and Resist, to withstand ITF's and farms or whatever the case?

Well I tested the builds using Soul and Mu, for some reason Mu allowed me to live longer, I could even take lvl 54's, albiet very, very close to dying each mob....set to +4, 8 man squads, w/bosses. I wonder why MU makes me survive but Soul Mastery does not? Anyone know why that is?

Here try this build, its mostly cheap sets so you can upgrade if you want. This runs the lib TV 8 man fine with just a kin following.

Dump burn it just slows you down and gets you killed, the activation is too long and scatters the mobs. I've run this build with and without burn and no matter what people say its a suck power. You can't lock down the bosses to keep them in the burn patch. If you wait to get two immonilizes on them to fire burn every thing is just about dead anyway.

You don't even have firery Embrace on that build, what's up with that? Isn't that like a MUST have power? It's one of the reasons to take FA. Anyhow, this is another version of my previous incarnation, except it has more DEF. Do ya'll think this build is better than all the previous?

infernal, your build is cheap and certainly can upgrade to purples, but you capped some recharge set bonuses which doesn't make any sense. As an SS/Fire, especially for farming, recharge is key. Also, the little amount of defense the two of you have won't make any difference for farming nemesis.

GR, if you wanna save some endurance and a slot, you can take the Def/End out of Weave and just don't toggle the power while you're farming. Another thing that might be causing you some trouble is the lack of KB protection. One -KB IO is usually enough, but if you're focusing on farming nemesis you'll need 3 to counter the Fakes staff attacks.

Personally, I wouldn't skip Burn. I don't use it for farming Liberate because you can't lock down the whole mob with Elec Fences and I don't want to lock down the Fakes because the KD in a lot of your attacks will prevent them from using PFF if you time them right. Burn is great damage for AV's and works best when you herd a mob into a tight space e.g. nemesis platform.

Other than that, your build isn't that much different than mine, similar recharge and HP numbers. Although I do have a significant amount more recovery bonuses. I don't have much problems farming +2/x8, you just need to learn the timing on your powers. My build is floating around in one of these threads if you wanna take a look.

My last post was about your previous build. The defense is pretty decent, but after a couple applications of vengeance it will be meaningless. Your recharge is certainly good, although you can use a little more HP IMO. More HP = more resists, more regen, better heal. For Rage you can 3 slot it with Guassians for some more HP. Some of your end problems maybe from over using Rage, stacking Rage = more crashes, which = more end problems.

Generally, I don't stack Rage unless I really need the extra damage. Sometimes the extra damage bonus isn't needed and thus can actually be slowing you down from the extra crashes. What I usually do is count the number of Footstomps it takes to kill a mob and count how many punches for my ST attack chain for bosses to see if the extra damage is worth it.
