Save my Fire/Sonic
Unfortunately, you picked a *very* end intensive combo, simple as that. Fire epic for consume is a perfectly reasonable choice. You could also go ice epic - since you can't heal yourself either, hibernate could fulfill two needs at once (and it becomes available at 41, not 47 - a big plus).
If you haven't already, frankenslotting your stuff for as much end reduction as you can fit in would help. If you're willing to drop a 4th slot into your single target bubbles, you could put in a bunch of end/res enhancements and cut down on the pain of rebubbling your team. Also, it couldn't hurt to make sure you've got some end reduction in your most spammed click powers too - a lot of people don't realize just how much endurance these consume. Getting at least an SOs worth into char and ring of fire would help, and fire cages, of course, needs as much as you can give it.
If you could post a mids build for your current setup/plan for the next few levels, we could look at it and see where any improvements could be made.

This is what it means to be a tank!
Until you have sets which include no loss end res, I'd seriously consider simply prioritizing your teammates as far as who gets bubbles and who doesn't. Once you're actually combat ready and have disruption field going (on top of dispersion and hot feet) basically your end bar has started the crawl towards zero. Bubble people who have trouble handling themselves, or bubble the people who can take a good deal of aggro if they're decent at managing it. (and relying on others staying in dispersion field range)
Remember, you're not a defender, first and foremost your job is control (and since you're fire, damage). In a choice between defensive bubbles and keeping disruption running... I'd pick the donuts.
Once you can handle the drain, then think about bubbling all your team every time.
Also, don't make the mistake of bubbling people with E/N/F/C shields when all there is, is S/L damage.
End game will be easier with management tools and slots to spare for either set end reduction or straight end reduction (two 50 IO's is just 10-15% shy of working as 3 SO's) You'll also be teaming with kins and rads more often since they're common hanging around endgame, so you will have support from them as well.

I was thinking of respeccing to something like the powerlist below. I'm not sure how to slot it at all. It was just a start in a direction. I picked up the Medicine pool and I'm not sure if that's the direction to go, or if I should be looking at trying to get better Defense. Enudrance drain is such a huge issue with this character that adding any more toggles might make him unable to walk.
Edit: Forgot to add he will be probably be using Ninja Run in place of a travel power.

I've a mid teens Fire/Sonic. Knowing a bit what the drain will be like from having a Sonic/Dark defender and a Fire/Storm controller my plan is:
1) To aim for 60+% endred in everything, with some powers like Hot Feet looking to get the endred ED capped (showing red in Mids).
2) Look for all the +recovery set bonuses I can get.
3) Same for + max endurance set bonuses and including Accolades for +max endurance.
4) Take an APP with a +endurance power (Hibernate or Consume).
Even with all that the end usage is scary, running at a bit over 2 end/sec, for my current build plan. But it also has more +recovery at 3.88 end/sec than nearly any build I have outside of things like */WP or */Regen with both QR and Stamina in the build.
3 End Reduction SOs into Sonic Disruption. You can live with 2 IOs once you get to 50 and get good set bonuses for recovery and +end.
I'll "ditto" the suggestion to frankenslot the shields with Res/End IOs.
You may also want to buff half your team every 2 minutes, instead of the whole team ever 4. That takes a little more discipline but won't bottom out your end after a buff cycle.
I have a Fire/Sonic 50 and, though brutal at times, becomes well worthwhile.
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
Just as another point of view for thought, frankenslotting the shields is a good short term improvement, but not overall the best way to improve your end usage. Yes the shields themselves will use less end. The build, however, will most likely end up netting less and therefore using more overall. Primarily this is because while frankenslotting is very good for #1 in my list above it fails to help in regards to #2 and #3 on that list. For my build the difference in the shields is +0.66 more end used with -1.1% resistance lost by not frankkenslotting in the individual shields. Meanwhile my overall net recovery has fallen from 1.81 to 1.5 end/sec. Now gaining the +recovery bonus before continuing to frankenslot helps (net goes up to 1.64) but I'm still missing those 3 +2.25% max endurance bonuses from 4 slotting Impervium Armor in the shield.
Hey guys, it's me. And I've got a problem.
I have a level 37 Fire/Sonic Controller who I feel is not living up to his potential. Part of it is player error I'm sure. But a lot of it is that I have no idea how to play a Fire/ troller, nor build for it.
My main problem is endurance. I run on teams of 8. With Hot Feet, Dispersion Bubble, and Disruption Field running, my endurance bar is really mad at me. Refreshing shields on everyone is seriously taxing and sometimes causes me to actually detoggle.
Also, the lack of a heal is really, really noticeable on this character. The imps take tons of damage, and I get hit frequently as well. Sonic's shields are okay, but force fields they are not.
I'm pretty much directionless at this point, and looking to all of you, the Controller community, for ideas on how to spec this character. I'm not expecting Fire/Kin levels of effectiveness, but I'd like something that offers maximum playability but actually stays alive while retaining the blue bar. I'm thinking of picking the Fire APP specifically to get Consume to help along these lines, but am open to any suggestions you might have.
