Gray Huntress (speed paint)
Wow, that looks really good. I like the blending of the colors; gives it a very "natural" effect.
Wow Bobby, that's really cool! Where's that technique?
"It's just a hardbrush. I set the opacity from 30-50-75%, the higher the more saturated. And the flow from 10-40-60%, the lower the softer edged the brushstroke will be."
And that's it. The rest is normal layering, flatting if you already do that, and of course there is " some " natural drawing involved.
Good lord, LJ, this is absolutely shocking...and a great face to wake up to Thank you so much for choosing to use Gray while practicing a new technique, I'm flattered and honored. You really did a great job rendering her, and the overal composition, posing, and shading is brilliant
Thank you so much LJ for the lovely gift...and you know, you could count it as one of the commissions
Oh wow! Talk about a face lift. That's pretty dang awesome there.

I am loving this Photoshop technique of yours!
I have fooled around before in there on other portraits. But never knew it was this simple. Can't wait to do more, but for now I present: Gray Huntress About an hour's worth of time... but I rushed things. LJ |
