Forum Searchs are terrible

I find the new Forum layout really increadible. Everything looks much cleaner. We can post photos and signatures. Over all, it looks much more 'put together'.

There is one major draw back that i am experiencing: Forum Search Tool

I find it absolutely TERRIBLE. If I a search for something and it pulls up threads that contain multipule pages, i have to go through page, by page, by page, by page, by page, etc, etc, to try and find it. Its not a big deal on 3-4 page threads, but when you get into somethreads that are 30+pages, it becomes ridiculous.

At least with the OLD layout I was able to select 'SHOW ALL' on the page selection, then do a 'Find'.

Anyone else find it just as much of a pain in the 455 to use?
Or am I not seeing an option to just go to the exact thread my searched word is mentioned in, without having to thumb through all the pages?

There's an option at the bottom of the advanced search page to search for threads or posts... I usually search for posts, then just skim the "quick look boxes" for posts that seem relevant to what I was looking for.

Could not have said it better myself. Got caught in the same problem myself until I figured it out That should give you the more precise results similar to the old forum's Search tool.

Then save your search options (button at the bottom) so it always searches that way.
