You have to enter a payment method, such as Credit Card information in order to apply the serial code. It isn't trying to make you pay for anything, only to enter the information for paying if you DO stay past the free time.
You aren't charged for any time until the free 30 days is over. If you don't want to continue, simply log in to your PlayNC account and Cancel before the 30 days is up.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

No, you can purchase a pre-paid credit card, or a game-time card at a lot of different places.
Or... get a credit card.

Hmm, thanks for that, but i'm still at a lost, basically until i buy some sort of prepaid credit card i have to stay on trial?
I think that might just be the case. I had access to a card when I signed up, so I don't recall how the process went.
Sorry I don't have any other suggestions for you.
Though I will point out that all you need to do is go to your local Walgreens or something and spend like 25 bucks to have a card that would work for your purposes.

It may be worth your effort to wait for others to respond to this or your other post (keep in mind that double-posting is frowned upon on the boards).
Perhaps others know more about the issue than I do... in fact it is all but guaranteed, we are a pretty resourceful lot.

I recently tried the 14-day game trial thing on here and i liked the game, i went to gamestop and bought the Cd "City Of Heroes Architect Edition" which says on the front "first month of pay included", however everytime i try to confirm the serial code it goes to "payment method" and tried to make me pay for something, can anyone help with this?
