Sorry to hear you're having troubles.
Unfortunately, when you cancel an account, it doesn't go into effect until your paid time is finished.
You -might- be able to contact customer support and put your account on hiatus, but I'd say it's a very, very, very slim chance.
Cancelling your accunt will just cancel the recurring billing.
Any time paid for and not used is not normally refunded, but your account would still be acssible until the expiration date.
You can try calling support and explaining your specific situation, but I doubt there is much they can do. One of the 'risks' associated with the pre-pay options is that circustances change, and that you may not play as much as you anticipated.

I've prepaid for my CoH account for a year. Unfortunatly, due to some family problems I won't be able to play for about 8 months of this subscription. My question is, if I cancel my account will I have a preserved balance or credit for the time paid that's going unused or will the cost of those months be refunded to me or do I just lose the money?
