Floating ceiling domes

I saw in one picture that someone had the arcane ceiling domes floating in the room at different heights and put arcane teleporters on them. Ive tried every way I could to make the ceiling domes float, but I can't make them, does anyone know how to make the ceiling domes float or unattach them from the ceiling?

This should be pretty easy. I can't remember which lamp it is that you can use to stack downwards but just combine a bunch of those and attach the dome at what ever level you want.

Then just stack upwards to the correct level and plot your TPer on top.

Hope that's clear enough, which it probably isn't. Someone else will be a lon in 3 minutes to tell you what the lamps are called.

Edit: OK they are the Hanging Lamps and this in fact does work. Just tried it so have fun.

A cute trick with this is to "dangle" a ceiling dome from a string of hanging shoji lamps ... and then cap it with a floor dome you "lift" via your favorite surface item. Sandwich these two items together and you have a "planet" floating in the air.

Extra bonus points for putting an arcane floor seal into the "join" between the upper and lower halves so that your "planet" has a ring around the equator ...

I've got a "planet" in my medical room. I put the rez rings on top of it (all the way up at the ceiling!). I then put the arcane inspiration storage item underneath the "planet" 1ft off the floor with a bonfire underneath it. In fact, you can kinda sorta see it in the overview pic of the Spring Knights base I posted this morning ...

Cant remember the lamp name but its one that’s shaped like a box and hangs from the ceiling. You keep on stacking "downwards" from the ceiling. It creates a base for things like lights and domes as you mentioned.
