Dark/Shield Build Thread
I went /elec on my softcapped ranged def build for the resists to stack with tough, which in combo with softcapped defense to range attacks makes for one heck of a hard to kill blaster.
On my pure recharge build I run /cold epic for the sleep aoe and def based shield as set mules for LOTG +rech and the fortunata sleep purple sets. 5 fortunata sleep purps and a chance for heal works pretty nice in that flash freeze power.
Id say for survivability /elec mastery is your best choice for the nice 3 damage type shield, and the hold plus the tier 9 power surge for really tough moments.
I went fire/energy/elec, on the other hand, for the third fast AOE. "Overkill" is a phrase used by people with meaningful defenses.
