Exemplared - Enhancement Slot order

I'll admit I must have some kind of OCD. I like my enhancement slot page to look neat. In other words, if I have 6 slots on a blaster power, I may have 3 Acc, then 3 Dam slots on it, in that order. They've been put in that position following a respec.

Now, If I get exemplared, how is this taken into account?

For example, my Ice Bolt enhancement slot looks like this after respeccing (using Mid's hero designer);

Level 2 Ice Bolt: Acc(A), Acc(3), Acc(5), Dam (7), Dam (11), Dam (17)

If I get exemplared down to level 10, will the game treat the skill as if it had a load of accuracy and only 1 damage bonus? or will it just scale the whole lot down?

When I respec, should I put the enhancements in more like;

Level 2 Ice Bolt: Acc(A), Dam (3), Acc (5), Dam (7), Acc (11), Dam (17)

so I have a better balance if exemplared?

I've tried to find the info on this, but I'm still unsure if exemplaring scales down everything you have in that power, or actually looks at level slots.

(Hope my rather rambling question makes sense here)

Thanks for any help/advice on this matter.

P-wiki article on exemplaring with IO's

Basically, regular IO's scale.

Set IO's work a little differently... P-wiki IO general info page... be sure to check out all the links in the articles, there are a lot of details to sift through.

I'd run down a few basics... but my eyes are telling me I've been up too long already, and I'd prolly screw it up.

Whole thing. Exemplaring applies reductions to the total, not to individual slots or enhancements.

The game does not take the level slots were added into account when exemping or the order enhancements are put in - you get a percentage of both the acc and dam enhancements in the example you give. Try searching on paragon wiki, it has good info on the mechanics of this.

A nice bonus- The Exemplar scaling-down calculation is calculated *before* Enhancement Diversification. If you have three Lv50 Accuracy IOs, it calculates out to you still having quite a lot of that accuracy bonus even when exemplaring.

Which also means a player putting together a build specifically for exemplaring can do a few things that normally wouldn't make a lot of sense, like 6 slotting Build-Up or Hasten with recharge enhancements, or over-enhancing other powers in a similar fashion.

In addition, you can take advantage of multi-aspect IOs (which have smaller per-aspect values), which can make an enhancement completely expemt from enhancement scaling.

Thanks for the answers.... it means after respeccing, my enhancement's can all be slotted neatly and my OCD kept in check. :-)
