Newb Halloween Salvage Question

Yes, just make sure you turn your difficulty down and you'll be fine. Generally on the lowest diff you'll get two maybe three minions per door.
I wasn't around for past holiday events, and I won't get to log on to the game for about 8 more hours (my boss wouldn't appreciate it if if I was playing here at work).
I just read on ParagonWiki that the Halloween Salvage will drop from the "Trick" spawns this year, rather than as Treats. My question is, is it likely that a solo player will be able to handle those Trick critters? In other words, will the spawns be too many or too high level for a single (reasonably competent, I hope) level 20-30 solo newbie blaster or scrapper(aka Me) to defeat? Thanks, in advance, Cheesy |
Though honestly the best method is to do these as groups, find a good area of doors and have at. The doors spawn spirits, fir bolg, werewolves, vampires and witches. They'll all based on existing baddies in the game.

If you're in a zone that's in-level for you, you're fine. Mobs will pop up based on your difficulty settings. If you can handle the mobs in a mission, you'll handle the ToT mobs just fine (though their combination of powers might throw you a nasty curve-ball, depending on how you're built).
As noted, the best way to maximize your gains in ToT are to find an area with a lot of doors (the motels are very popular farming spots) and runs run the gauntlet knocking, and wipe mobs as fast as possible.
Actually, difficulty settings don't affect what spawns. Only team size.

After about two hours of ToTing solo on my Defender (with lots of IO bonuses at level 50), I have 11 Halloween Salvage.
