game goes black screen

dumb question. Have you tried wiggling the mouse? or how do you get out of the black screen?

It's really hard to troubleshoot an issue with so little technical information.
I'd recommend starting with Zloth's ++ Common Solutions & Posting Guidelines ++ thread that is stickied in this forum.
Secondly, post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.
Thirdly, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Ive been gone for 4 months and come back for double exp weekend i keep my game updated an i go to load the game all it does is go to black screen. i can hear the log in screen but on picture i have a nvidia gt 9800 1gig that is the problem. thanks
