So like whats with the leader/team order change?
It's due to SSK'ing (Super-Side Kicking), The top person is whoever the team is SSK'd too. Probably not going to change.

Sure, the devs are supposed to listen to their customers, mister business 101 out there. And if I decide to start suggesting that the devs change the game from being about superheroes and supervillains to being about clowns that is my right as well, and technically Paragon Studios is supposed to pay attention to me. But I hope strongly that they assume a meth-head somehow managed to hack into my forum account and make paper airplanes out of my posts, because I hope they recognize stupid when they see it. I assume they will recognize futile just as accurately.

MutantX is correct that this is an effect of the new SSK system. You may not have noticed it but if you switch between different character misions you will also change level frequently as every time a mission is selected the group is side kicked/exemplared to match the mission holder and when no mission is selected they match the group leader. Probably the best way to deal with it these days is to stick with one character picking the missions and give them the star - that will cut down on frequently order changes in the group AND on frequent level changes as the group leader/mission holder will always be the same.

If you don't like the reordering, the only way to avoid it is to have the leader do his missions and his missions only.
As was said before in this thread, when you pick a different players mission, that player's name goes to the top for the mission, but then reverts to the team leader afterwords.
Where to now?

I sure as hell hope it does. It looks sloppy to anyone familiar with the old system.

I'd like to:
- change the order of my teammates in my display
- change the size of teammates in my display individually
- remove teammates from the display as I see fit (mostly just to remove myself)
- break apart the individuals and move them around as I see fit, so the Team Window would really be a bunch of smaller windows that can be joined together (and would default to joined together).
- have more control over buff icons; specifically, I'd like to be able to monitor only effects I produce and/or have my effects display larger; it would be nice if each buff could have an optional timer that is counting down
Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.

But you're not necessarily SKed to the team leader. You get SKed to the person who owns the mission you're on. You're only SKed to the team leader if you're doing the leader's missions, you're on a TF (the game treats the leader as the mission owner), or you're not on any mission at all.

We don't need the team window to tell us what's going on with the SSK system, and the way its doing it both detracts from the utility of the team window and confounds long-standing methods of using it, based on whose missions the team is running.
The team order in the list should either be fixed as it was pre-I16 barring individual SKs, or much more configurable, as suggested by StratoNexus. Pointlessly indenting all people who aren't the current mission holder, and reordering the team each time a new person's mission is selected is confusing and uninformative.

I think you know what I meant. It's a shoehorn of the new mechanism into the old display mechanic no matter what. If your usual interaction with the system is in a Task or Strike Force, its the team leader who always gets the outdent at the top of the list.

I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
I'd like to see the devs totally re-design the Team Window.

Oh.. and while we're at it... put the 'real' level of each player in the display next to the AT icon.

When I'm in a group and the leader selects a mish (say a radio one) if it's from one of the group members the order of the team changes (the person who actually got the mish becomes team member one).
Was this on purpose? is this going to change? it's really annonying when I am used to hitting whatever key for member two or three to heal and now it's someone else.
