All I've got a is a jpg that cost me a hundred bucks and is too small to print out at a decent size. I'd happily pay him the rest of the money if I got my hard copy, I'd forgo the free chibi I was supposed to be getting that was part of the sign up offer, not to mention the extra freebie he promised me as recompense for taking so long.

The thing that bums me out about this every time it comes up is that the guy is stupid-talented. I wish I had his skills.

I just came back to the game and ran across this thread. This is one of the only threads that I've read all of the replys. This is sad to see.
I received a commisioned piece three years ago. I too had to wait a long time in order to receive my piece and of course had to bug him endlessly. I saw even back then that he was having a hard time managing his business. As I read this read this thread I went back to my old emails (yes I keep them) and saw that in 2007 I offered to help him with external communication. Apparently there was no point during his ventures in his business where he stopped and said I need help. His pride is what has done him in.
I was a fan of his and I'm sad to see how things have turned out for him. But as I look back over everything I'm not surprised to see that he let things get that out of hand. Taking on too many orders and a lack of communication with consumers is a deadly combo. On top of the fact that he has yet to respond to the critism that he has received from the players in this game.
Even on his new site he mentioned that it was this game that helped launch his MMOart website. He should pay dues to that; not take advantage of it. I truly hope that whatever is causing this in his life he gets straighten out. Otherwise he's in for a serious case of bad karma.
