AR/Traps or Archery/Traps?
AR has fire damage and more AOEs. Bean bag and ignite are also nice pluses.
I suspect that Arch would have better single target damage overall.
For a team of Traps corruptors I would go A. mainly becuase of Fire damage. Arch would do fine and have it's strengths as well.
What you pick isn't as important as how you use it.

I also suggest going with AR instead of archery. It is insane what an AR/Traps can do on a team. All the cones and AoEs means lots of orange numbers. Once you get to the epic pools it just gets more fun after you add the web envelope.
I would also suggest Concealment, super speed, stealth IO combo. It lets you ghost through missions and plan how you want to handle the mobs. It also , in most cases, will let you "toe bomb" them as well.
I also suggest the medicine pool, not really for the stimulate or aid other, but the aid self. After you drop your "toe bomb" the ones that survive will tend to be really pissed at you.
Another fun tactic I like to use is the corner pull into a mine field. Setup a couple of trip mines (usually 2 or 3) right off the point of a corner. Depending on the mob I might throw down a PGT, mortar, and/or caltrops. Then step around the corner and fire into the group, I have been using M30 for this since its a waste when you end up pulling one guy. Followed by quickly ducking back behimnd the corner. The big explosion followed by bodies flopping all over the place usually means success. Then its just mopping up the rest. You can also use a "toe bomb" to start this. Run to the edge of the group or middle if you have a clear path back to your mine field corner while using Super Speed and Concealment. Drop your land mine and start running for your corner. Normally you will have a couple of seconds between dropping the land mine and the mob actually setting it off. If it was close enough you should have time to make it back to the corner before they trip the toe bomb and chase you down....right into your mine field.
Its not always the easiest combo to play but it damn sure is alot of fun.

Arch, run in drop acid+posion trap and then launch rain of arrows while they are all held. Not to shabby and you don't have to reposition yourself.
Pretty much that. Which would be the better pairing for a Corruptor and or a team of Traps Corruptors?
