Issue with the in-game store
I think it's supposed to be telling you that you need to type in your PlayNC Master Account password...
I just purchased 1 slot, and it popped up a box telling me that it was an added security feature. I bought a few slots awhile back, and I don't remember having to do that before.
Now, as for why it isnt' showing up correctly, I don't know. Right now, all I can suggest is completly shutting down the game, re-launching it, and trying again.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot and see if it works. I didn't see a text field in the box though. Oddly enough, after having that issue, I tried to delete a character, and the "type in the name" box also showed up blank, although it had the text field there. That one showed up correctly after a restart, so hopefully that'll solve the other issue as well. Thanks again.
There are currently problems with the store, and have been all weekend. For some people, empty purchased slots (everything after the first page) aren't showing up, even if they were open before. I'd recommend avoiding any purchases until they get it fixed. You won't lose the money for any purchases, since the system does save the receipt, but it's a pain to have to jump through all the customer service hoops.

Got it sorted out, restarting let me see the text in the 2nd box, which was a notification of no CC on file (was using paypal for game time.) Added card in account mgmt., and all is well now. Thanks for the help guys.

Its probably related to the Aion launch and everyone needing to add codes to their Master Account (and apply collector edition codes to each and every character they create - who's idea was that?)
As the queues for each server were around 1200 people you can imagine the hit the servers holding account details took with everyone creating new accounts.

I'm currently trying to buy some extra character slots, and coming across an issue. I choose the "5 character slots" option from the store, get the warning box (non-transferable, non-refundable, etc.), then after clicking OK on that box, a blank text box comes up with just an OK button at the bottom. Any had this issue before, and know how to resolve it?
