Thermal Mastermind: Help me make up my mind Ninja or Thugs

I quit months ago and I'm thinking of coming back, I had a Dark/Zombie, Poison/Thugs(for pvp both zone and arena) and Dark/Robot mastermind, I've been thinking of Thugs/Thermal and I don't see how I can go wrong with this one, but I also been contemplating Ninjas, which I never had and on paper they seem to out dps the thugs, on the plus side Thugs can have an extra 5 defense and 5 damage resist thanks to Gang war plus the enforcers auras which add around 30 defense.

I don't have the game installed so I can't check the stats of the level 6 and 32 upgrades stabilizer, but my question is how are they for PvP in both zone and arena compared to Thugs(I do zones more often)? I'm guessing since Thugs are all ranged(well except the Brute) they are the better option as they are near you firing and can be healed easily and don't have to close in the distance as much as melee whereas Ninjas do have shurikens and arrows which seem to do good damage but they recharge rather slowly but cast fast, then again the player can just outrun you even with ranged henchmen a lot of the times or get out of the henchmens firing range easily with levitate and the Ninjas speed does help them keep up more with the player(which doesn't make my choice any easier...):

thug Pistol:
19.46 Lethal damage
Cast Time: 2.33
Recharge: 2 Seconds

Shuriken
19.46 Lethal damage
Cast Time: 1.07
Recharge: 4 seconds

If anyone actually bothers to read this wall of text and helps thanks

Thugs IMO. Ninjas tend to act stupid at times from what I have seen

Also I forgot: Do the damage bonuses when placated or hidden help the ninjas much in pvp anyways? and did Grant invisivility give a hidden status to the henchmen, allowing them to do the bonus damage(I'm guessing no)

...On grant invis, no.

...Only the jounin stealth, and thats because they can crit. They are like 2 pseudo nin/nin stalkers without the great def or heal. So, it helps. It's even cooler when you cast smoke cloud on the Oni and he crits with Fire Blast and the DoT from it.

...So, basically, ANY +dmg helps, and instead of just general +dmg from thugs assault you get more bursty dmg with crits, though they aren't constant like thugs.

...I have not played thugs past 22 so I only know how annoying trying to manage that Arsonist is...

My Thug/Thermal MM is 33 so I am seeing the big performances of the set.

Bruiser is my brute. His lethal/smashing resistance is 45%. Fire is 48% (others are about 20%)
With the Enforcer leadership buffs, the bruiser also sees a 19.1 DEF ALL including psionic.
With the Enforcer's Assault buffs and Forge, the bruiser sees a constant damage bonus of 65%.

Yes the Arsonist is a pain running into melee and committing suicide, but when he dies I don't really care and keep going with the 5 (that don't die very often).

I can send the bruiser in the middle of a large group of npcs and only seldom heal him. I can go as far as just using the bruiser if I wanted to be a brute's personal healer/buffer.

The remaining powers are debuff's for bosses, av's or whatever. It has been a really fun set. More fun and much better survivability then my 50 bot/dark mm.

Way to necro a 2-month-old thread and give PvE advice about a PvP question...
