If you don't have anyone on at a time that is convenient to you - head over to the Base Construction forum or your server forum and ask someone to help you invite alts to the SG.
Here is what you do:
Have a second person log on an alt not in a SG or perhaps make one just for the occasion.
Invite that character to the SG and promote them to the level you will want your other character to be (not that big a deal if your SG stays just your characters, but if you later invite others you may want to have your guys be higher rank than the newbies).
Log on with second (& third & fourth & etc.) character and have the friend invite you to the SG & promote as desired.
Then friend either quits the SG or you kick them.
I have done this for a few other players and if you need me to do it for you, just send me a PM of when & where.

Can you have a SG for just your own characters? I guess I'm asking if I need to have two characters logged on at the same time to get one to "invite" the other to the SG? If so, is there any way around this other than purchasing another account?
