Global Chat and Switching Between Characters

right click the chat tab choose edit tab and add the channels back to the tab.

- Log into one of your existing characters that has all your chat tabs set up the way you want them.
- /chatsave
- log into the new character
- /chatload
Another thing to note is that, unfortunatly, if you have any user-created Global Chat Channels set to be the Default channel for a tab, that option does NOT save when you save your chat options. You'll have to edit each tab, and set the channel to Default.

I've been searching through the forums but haven't found anything about this problem. Sorry if this is a really stupid question.
So whenever I roll a new character I am told that I join all of my global channels, but they're all completely silent. Also, whenever I join a channel under one character it will be silent under another character. Is there a way that I can fix this?
ETA: My normal fix is to just leave the channels and rejoin them in order to post and read other people's posts, but this doesn't really help for private channels that need invites.
