Technology origin and EBs?
lol Origin powers.
Isn't that power like, 2 mag for a fraction of a second?
My advice? Scrub the whole concept of giving a rat's **** about origin from your brain and focus on picking a primary and secondary power that you like
So then you don't know if the extra mag 2 is enough to hold an EB?
"Characters with a Technology origin start out with a Taser Dart.
Being of technological origin, you have access to many little devices, one of which is a Taser Dart of your own design. This attack has a very short range and does minor Energy damage to your target. In addition it has a chance to Hold your opponent for a brief moment. Damage: Minor, Recharge: Fast "
Considering the hold you can take at level 1 has a 100% chance to hold for much, much, much longer than a "brief moment", I'd say that if you're relying on your temporary power as a dominator to hold an EB, you need a serious dose of L2P.
With enough recharge, you can stack your single target hold, several times, after using your mass hold. Add a few procs into your ranged attacks and holds (the +chance for hold ones), and use Power Boost & Megalomaniac, and you've got yourself a dominator that can reliably hold an EB.
A Dominator wasting his endurance on Taser Dart instead of firing off the Single Target Hold again, is one that'd feel my kick boot so far up his behind, that he'll find that he'll have my toes for teeth.
TL;DR:
Taser Dart isn't affected by domination. So, no...
You never cease to make me laugh Koji.
Also, However, the following statement was not needed. |
"You would need" is perhaps closer to what I meant
The taser dart only has a chance to do a hold. It's not going to be a reliable source to maintain lockdown on anything.
Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew if using the technology origin power, and then a single hold skill, while domination is going, is enough to hold an EB? I'm wondering because I got magic origin just to be able to debuff damage resistance a little. But if it helps hold EBs I'll probably reroll the toon (it's low level).
