PvP for a peacebringer

I think that the reason you don't see many PB PvP-centric threads, and possibly even less WS PvP-centric threads is that most people when they make their Kheldians, don't truly focus on PvP as the main goal for their Kheldian. I may be wrong, of course.

As far as analyzing what you need from a PvP character to be able to perform, suffice it to say that Kheldians, due to their Inherent power feel the most powered-up in a team situation. That said though, there's a few bits that Kheldians can do when PvP'ing. A TriFormPB for example may have up to 3 self-heals and a WS may self-cap its damage resistance by itself given enough enemies around it, Players and NPC's alike.

The real problem for Kheldians in PvP, in my opinion though, is that their forms were designed to play off one another, but shape-shifting sometimes takes too long and in PvP even a mere second can make the difference between life and death, and Kheldians in their Human-form have by-the-numbers unreliable damage, survivability and not enough crowd control compared to the other AT's.

Focusing on the PB, I would say that your best damage would most probably come from Bright Nova, but that's also the least defensible form to launch your attacks from, while Human-form Lightform+Shields will give you the most defensible form but only until the unavoidable crash. White Dwarf is good enough against many threats because it packs mitigation from the KB in White Dwarf Flare and the heal in White Dwarf Sublimation, but that works well in PvE. In PvP a Dwarf-centric build is probably going to fail to do enough damage and not have enough damage-resists on its own.

Indeed, the best advice I can give you on PvP is to team with some friends and explore what group synergies you find with them.

I hate to be a partypooper, but it's simply been my experience that attempting to solo-PvP with my Kheldians wasn't worth the time and effort.

If you insist on attempting that, I would recommend a build that's high on +Defense/+Resists and +Perception/+ToHit and recommend having Nova as a sniper. That's how I'd go about it if I were to give it another go.

Agreed. The PvP forums will probably be able to help you out a lot more than any of us since I don't know anyone who seriously pvp's here.

I would think the best way would be to make a high recharge human only build and put a lot of effort into the self heals and a few of the big hitters. You would have to pick the dying targets, finish them off, run away and heal. Kinda like a stalker without hide and less squishy
