Resetting Hero Safeguard Missions

I'm not sure if this has been posted here before. If it has been, I couldn't find it. Earlier today I happened across a method of reliably resetting the Safeguard missions for the purpose of repeating the side missions.


As soon as you enter the mission, run straight to the bank. Defeat ONLY the mob that contains the "signature villain", which is heading for the vault. Do not aggro the additional mobs inside the bank. Once you have defeated the "active" mob, you are free to roam the map and complete the side missions. The timer for the mission never starts, since you didn't actually complete the main mission and the mission doesn't fail because the mobile mob has been defeated. They can't reach the exit.

Once you have completed the side mission, exit the mission, reset and repeat.

I know that on the villain side of things, the mission owner has to remain outside of the mission for this to work. I had the mission owner outside on mine as well, but didn't test to see if that was a requirement.

They should make Bank missions on both sides re-runnable. As in, once you've done all of them once, the final one starts cycling. So, for Villain side (the one I know best) once you have completed Peregrine Island Bank, the cycle starts. Atlas, Kings, Skyway, etc. That way you're not forced into 'get it all while you can'
