Change Empathy/Pain Dom/thermal/Medicine REZ power

Basically, the change would be that the recharge of the rez should only happen if the power is actually successfull in rezzing someone. If it does not rez anyone (they are afk or hit no instead of YES when prompted to be rezzed) then allow the caster to use it again without needing to wait on it to recharge.

Nothing worse than trying to rez someone that goes AFK or DC's without the team knowing and wasting a rez on them. (this can be annoying in the low levels) Or if they hit NO because there about ready to level allowing us to use it on someone else that needs it.

Note*
I didn't include howling twlight (dark rez) because its also an attack, and some folks just use it as such.

I've played a lot of defenders/controllers and know how frustrating this is however I doubt it will ever be changed - its like suggesting that if any of your damage attacks miss their target you should have the power instantly ready to use. Its just part and parcel of the game...the randomness of whether you are or are not successful

I'm fairly sure the way the powers engine is coded that this isn't possible (once powers are activated, there's no going back), but of course the powers engine can be recoded to make it possible...however, of course, standard code rant applies, and I doubt they'd recode the powers engine just for something like this.

True but if you get an option to hit "yes" or "no" to be rezzed then if they hit "no" you should be able to use that rez on another player. Hence stopping the power from being used completely.

Or if they hit nothing at all... (i.e. AFK/Dcing) you shouldn't have to wait till its recharged to use it again since you didn't actually rez anyone?

The difference is, though, that the enemies don't get a dialog box coming up asking "HealingFlame would like to shove a fireball in your face, do you accept? (yes) (no)," and even if an enemy (PVP-wise, at least, makes no difference in PVE) goes AFK, they can still be attacked.

A rez - barring, as mentioned, HT - should be given an instant, or faster, recharge if rejected, I agree. It's a bit of an irritant.
