New Forum Navigation Question

Hello folks,

Hope all is well. After I "subscribe" to a thread, I am unable to to "default" back to my page number like in the old forums. So, besides for the fact that I must be denser than lead, what am I missing?

For instance, I subscribed to a thread in Player Guides on Page 5. After doing so, my web page returned to first page of the subscribed page; however, I could not find a way back to previous page number (page 5). Instead I had to go page 1 of Player Guide forum and the only visible page numbers were in this order (1,2,3,11...). Of course arrow tabs were there for me to rifle through but this is such a waste of time to get back to page 5.

I can't even use "back arrow" on my web browser.

Thanks in advance.

Manually add &page=5 to the end of the URL. There is no way to go directly to any page other than the first three and three later pages from the front/first page.

Also, if there is a specific post you are trying to favorite.. you can also click on the number in the top-right of the post and save that bookmark instead.

For example, this post I'm making has a "#3" in the corner, and the link would be:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showpost.php?p=2224861&postcount=3

If you want to link to the same place, but be able to see the whole thread, you would change the bookmark link from "showpost.php" to "showthread.php", like this:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?p=2224861&postcount=3

The funny thing is, the "&postcount=3" part doesn't seem to actually do anything, and you can link without it. The "p=#######" is what links to a specific post. lol
