Here is my first shot at building a Dark Melee / Electric Armor toon. I was shooting for Softcapping at least Melee Def, I only got to 40%

I also have no clue what is the best way to slot Dark Melee attacks. i.e. Siphon Life I am not happy with what I have on it. I am also not sure of my overall slot strategy for Electric Armor.

Let me know what you guys come up with.

I can't load a saved buid in St0n3y's mid but I am going to drop lighting shield and replace with shadow punch and take 4 slots from power sink. Wil post something later, perhaps.

You really want heals in Energize.

Defense builds aren't my thing so I can't comment further.

Isn't Siphon Life going to be where I grab heals mostly from?

In my opinion, it's still worth enhancing Energize. It's a great heal and a great +regen power.

Sounds good will look into it.

Dark Melee has some tough slotting choices and I have no experience with it.

Do I go 6 slots for the electric shields?

Looking for someone (Umbral) to post a Dark something build so I can look at his slotting choices for DM as a reference and will point me to what I will need to do in EA.

I put the nictus set in siphon life since i was missing bout every 5-7 attacks with it, and this build will need the updated version of stoneys mids.

this may sound supid, but wouldnt it be a smarter idea to build upon a brute since it already has /elec, and just leave spaces and say whats going into them?

but from one of Umbrals builds, he has 2 end/heal HOs, 1 acc/dmg HO, Hecatomb: DMG, and i cant remember the last 2 slots... i think 2 of either of the accurate healing sets into Siphon Life

Ok here is another option.

I am not sure about dark Consumption. Is it a waste with power sink? Is the slotting I have ok? Am I too attack heavy? I mean:

Shadow Punch, Smite, Shadow Maul, Siphon LIfe, Midnight Grasp Is this stupid ?

Dark Consumption might be overkill because of Power sink. Power is a lot better and it doesn't need a to hit check and it is up more so I think it would be ok to Drop Dark Consumption.

Now for the Attacks...No you are not attack heavy. You can have that many attack and be just find. If you like the attacks there is nothing wrong with having that many attacks. As long as you like them then it is ok. It also depends on what you want to do with the build to to say if you have too many attacks. If you want to solo AV which might be hard for a /Elec then I would say yes that is too many attacks...but if you just want to run TF and just normal stuff then that is find...remember as long as it is fun to you nothing is really wrong.
