Rad/EM Blaster Build Advice Needed
Hey I probably cant help you to too much with your build because Im pretty new to pvp'ing as well, but if youd like to look over my my planned build for ideas as I did with yours go ahead. Also if anyone that does know what works/doesn't work iv pvp to speak up and give your advice on a rad/energy blaster!
BTW in my build I was kind of going for the "picking off almost dead enemies - flying blaster" role. Thats what influenced my decision to go with the [boost range] (so I could stay as far away as possible from people that could possibly hit me) and [proton volley] snipe power (hits from 280 ft away with br and bonuses - hoping it will allow me to stay high enough above the fight ad sj'ing people to be safe but still hit people.)
EDIT: Slotted Hoarfrost better as it seems to be a pretty important tool for blasters...

I've played blasters for a long time, but I'm not as articulate in the use of Radiation Blast or even with PvPing much. I threw this build together and I'm not sure how it'll hold up. Any suggestions?

The 4 powerpools I chose on a PvP Blaster ( and a lot of others do the same ) is Fitness / Leaping / Speed / Leadership. Whilst you could stick with that build, and keep phase or aidself... Which after badmouthing it, it can be used well with the right play style, I would still highly recommend getting Leaping pool to go with your ss.

Another advantage to being an Arch is its attacks aren't as visible, which may buy you a bit more time after hitting someone for them to find where you are in the sky, with anything else you can see clearly which direction the attacks came from.
If you wanted to stick it out with Rad however, then best to make use of its ability to be Proc'd out. If you look at the build above you, you will see he has slotted for dmg procs in Neutrino Bolt. Of corse, whilst procing you miss out on the opportunity to slot for +range from pvp sets. My Arch sniper has boost range + 45% range from sets and +range enhancers in the attacks, Whilst DR totally starts pwning all that i've added on there, every little bit helps =). Its fun to be hovering at the middle of townhall and hitting people under atlas afterall.
Yeah I want to stay with Rad cuz of its -def (whihc i think would be pretty useful in pvp - specially against annoying stalkers) and for slight thematic reasons once I can change the colors around.
I can only see one damg proc it on his neutrino, and playstyle-wise i just prefer to get the highest dam/acc and rech I can on an attack while retaining some good set bonuses as opposed to taking a chance with the dam proc. Plus you lose the set bonuses which in my case would mean the 7.5 ranged def im getting from the 3 thunderstrikes, which I kinda feel better having in there.

I'm thinking that a close range rad/em might be interesting.

Well if going for something different, sure rad/em. But if you really want to be far away and snipe, Psi is the best. As far as -def goes, there's nothing vill side that the blaster can't hit through with regularity (save doms in pff, but that's rare these days).
