Give MM pets back their speech bubbles

I could have sworn they still had them. Loaded up one of my MMs (with two bodyguard macros - one that's just the default, one that has a little chatter.) Default chatter ("I'm right behind you / Eyes are Peeled" - Mercs) shows in the bubbles, the chat that used to override this is in the text area.
I'm hoping that's just a bug. So, yeah... /signed.
The Pet_say command was altered at some point since CoV was released. I don't recall exactly when it was. however, the alteration disallowed the <>' in keybinds. Maybe it was the /bind function that was altered. The change was not retro-active though. Keybinds made before the change will still work as they were intended to work. Any Pet_say keybinds made after the change will not work.
There was a reason given for the change, but I don't recall what it was, and I'm too lazy to go look it up right now.
There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"
I don't even know why they were removed in the first place =[
If it was somehow an issue, would it have been that hard to give people a 'Dont show pet speech bubbles' option?
As an avid RP'er and one who uses a few Masterminds, the pets can be as talkative as a Player character.
Now theyre confined to the Chat tab. If people even have Pet dialogue on it
